On 7th and 8th of October 2014, 14 television journalists from Osh, Batken, Jalal-Abad, Naryn and Karakol have been trained in republic training center media communication in public broadcasting corporation of Kyrgyz Republic.
Seminar on “Improving the legal capacity of the regional media in the guarantee of access to information” was organized by UNESCO with the support of the Bureau in Almaty in the framework of the EU and the UN “Advancing good governance in order to achieve social justice” in conjunction with local broadcast.
The lawyers of the “Precedent” Fatima Yakupbaeva, Adilet Azimov, as well as a media expert Elima Djaparova conducted the trainings.
Staffs of the regional mass media had increased their capacity to basic legislation on access to information and improved skills building materials on the theme access to information.
The regional journalists were able intelligently to highlight share “The Movement 33” after the seminar, which held a legal group “Precedent” in the 7 regional centers of the Kyrgyzstan. The problems with the access to information and their implications have appeared on the country’s main TV channels, websites of news services and in new agencies
The project had been prepared the social audio sequences on the guarantees of access to information to the residents of Kyrgyzstan in Kyrgyz and Russian languages. The rollers are taken in the broadcast community and public radio stations.
